“If you’re told what to look for, you can’t see anything else. So one thing is to see, in a way, without words…. Once you have an idea, or somebody tells you something to look for, that’s about all you can see. I had this experience recently: A dear friend of ours has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and I hadn’t seen her for about six months. And when she came and visited, I couldn’t see her anymore. I could only look now for symptoms, how the dementia was manifesting itself. I couldn’t see her through any other lens but the possible symptoms. And that one word, that one piece of knowledge totally corrupted every time I looked at her.”

The first Bond movie and one of the best in the Bond film...

The first Bond movie and one of the best in the Bond film franchise. It is interesting that Dr No is not seen until the 82nd minute of the movie despite continuous reference from the start of the movie and being the character title of the movie. The first 80 minutes of the film was spent building the anticipation and suspense about Dr No. Joseph Wiseman was superb as Dr No. It will be interesting to find out what his screen time was for the movie. I bet it was less than 15 mins in total.

I loved this movie and found several scenes very funny....

I loved this movie and found several scenes very funny. Tarantino is a wonderful writer. His dialogue is classic. I look forward to reading the screenplay for this movie. Christoph Waltz is the star of this film and I am not surprised that he won an Oscar for his performance as Hans Landa.
